History of Twitter

Twitter is a website owned and operated by Twitter Inc.., Which offers a microblogging social network that allows users to send and read messages called chirp (tweets). Chirp is text posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the user profile page. The booms can be seen outside, but the sender can restrict message delivery to their friends list only. Since its creation in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Twitter has gained popularity worldwide and currently has more than 100 million users. It is sometimes described as the "SMS of the Internet".

History
Twitter began as a discussion held by board members of the podcasting company Odeo. During the meeting, Jack Dorsey introduced the idea of ​​twitter where people can use the SMS service to communicate with a small group. The project began on 21 publicly on July 15, 2006. Twitter became its own company in April 2007.
